Cubs
Monday 19:00 - 20:30 at Brockswood School
Tuesday 19:00 - 20:30 at Woodhall Farm Community Centre
Cubs are boys and girls normally aged 8 to 10 ½ and take part in a wide range of activities that are designed to be interesting and to challenge them. These include outdoor cooking & bushcraft skills, working as a team, exploring the outdoors, playing games and taking part in adventurous activities all whilst having fun, making new friends and learning skills for life.
Cubs also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo or theme parks as well as bushcraft events, badges days, panto trips etc. We also run several overnight trips every year some indoors and some in tents, whilst on camps we run all kinds of outdoor activities.
During their time in the group Cubs will earn lots of different badges, there are over 60 Cub badges including chef, DIY, scientist, road safety, watersports, nights away and astronomer.
Once Cubs reach 10 ½ we'll find them a space in a Scout Troop (ages 10 ½ - 14)
